The Batoony Story
Natural river pebbles are a work of art crafted by the brush-strokes of Mother Nature. Each Batoony Pebble Art is created using pebbles which have traveled long and far across river streams and taken many years to obtain its natural shape and smooth texture.
Holding a pebble for us at Batoony is the most satisfying part of the entire process of creating Pebble Art.
At Batoony, we believe each pebble has a story to tell!
Pebble Art Making Process
Following are the steps involved in creating unique, memorable and beautiful Batoony Pebble Art:
- Hand-pick Pebbles (as pebbles need to be flat and smooth, not all pebbles can be used for creating pebble art).
- Clean the mud and dust off the Pebbles
- Sort the pebble as per their size and shapes. Sorting pebbles and pairing them so they make a good pair or even a set of family members is a challenging process, as you have to go through hundreds of pebbles to create the right pairs that eventually when placed inside the frame, speak the same design language.
- Customer requirements and customization are understood and in some cases even digital mock-ups are created for approval
- And then begin the painting and detailing on the pebbles
- Meanwhile the graphic designers create the background art to blend with the art created on pebbles.
- Frames are fabricated using engineered wood and now it’s time for the final assembly to begin where all aspects come together.
- The Chief Designer approves the frame for its aesthetic appeal and quality.
- And after the Quality Testing, Carton Box Packing and Foam Padding, Wrapping, Labeling the frame completes the process.
- In about a week’s time of placing the order and after going through the above steps, Batoony Pebble Art frame is ready to adorn the walls of its rightful owner who values and enjoys unique, hand-made and hand-crafted products!
